Me deepest sympathies to his family and everyone that knew him, he must've been a natural center of attention. His books have become kind of a way to identify similar-minded people, at least here in Norway where it isn't really that large. It would be nice if people could sign off with their real name and where they come from. What more can I say? Douglas was my favourite author and his skill with language inspired me. Thanks Douglas, for helping to make me who I am. And thanks too for your conservation work, and for giving us a last chance to see that it's not too late to change our ways and make the world better.
