  |  | I think we would all like to send our condolences to his family at this terrible time.
Send all our h2g2 warmth and friendliness to his family on behalf of us. We will all miss him, but his legacy live on in h2g2 and didn't he brighten up our lives.

Me deepest sympathies to his family and everyone that knew him, he must've been a natural center of attention.
His books have become kind of a way to identify similar-minded people, at least here in Norway where it isn't really that large. If you get talking with someone, you mention HHGTTG, they've read it, and you know you're on the same wavelength! So long, and thanks for all the way-too-late hours off reading in bed...
