Isn't there a fairly obvious and low effort way to update it too? If the previous day's FP three Entries were added to the top of the list and three at the bottom taken off, this would produce a minimum-effort daily rolling list. It would be fresh, but running a day behind would also mean that people discovering h2g2 through W+W would find three different Entries on the FP if they clicked the link.
