Eds,

the name of the city is Münster with an umlaut on the U. It is normal in German to write an e after the u if an umlaut character is not available. So müsli becomes muesli rather than musli, and Münster becomes Muenster.

I checked this with the author, and he said he'd prefer the spelling Muenster to Munster (without an umlaut) as there is at least one other city in Germany called Munster (without an umlaut).
