And of course the Post at the moment hasn't got any competition and therefore no urges to be the best. Please note the sarcasm.

Er, it's Post with a capital P. And it's not very sporting to try and headhunt proven writers rather than to encourage your own.

Yes, but h2g2 Extra won't be able to create its own blobs, unlike the Post, so it'll probably make greater use of blobs already on h2g2.

| | I will soon be updating the noticeboard with much more up-to-date information. Since I am a friendly competitior, I don't want to just take writers from the Post (although I do want writers to write articles for the H2G2 Extra, to answer an earlier point), but I would like it if some people could do something special for the first issue, and if they'd like to write for both, That would be brilliant. The H2G2 Extra will start monthly, and, depending on how succesful it is, it may come out every 2 weeks.
What I would like to do is write a report about The H2G2 Extra, aims, and things for The H2G2 Post, if that would be okay. It will give people a chance to know what the definate aims of this are, and things will seem more clear.
Another thing, which I have put on my space, is that since Peta has said that if I give him a good enough title then it will be able to be blobbbed. I am asking if people could create some titles they think would be good, then send them to the e-mail address on my home page, and the best will be chosen.

News Editor - I would be more then happy to give you an article for the first issue. I hope that italics are not going to be excluded from this, I like to think I am just as much a part of the Community as everyone else. I write for the Post, but would like to contribute to both.

NE, we'd love for you to write a piece for the Post. We'd also be happy to run it. Go ahead, although I think that you'd be cutting it very tight for this week's deadline. Depending on how much tidying up it needs, spelling, grammer and coding, Shazz needs them in within the next hour or so. I'd reckon that writing it for next week would be better. Don't worry though, if you like we'll stick a little something in this week announcing you and directing people to your page asking for ideas and such.

| | Just letting you all know that i'm still here and about. Real Life situations can get in the way of things sometimes, but i'm still here and preparing for the H2G2 Extra. Pastey - My article for the post is coming soon. I'm still hoping for someone to create an amazing logo for the H2G2 Extra to use. Does the post have any artist or someone who creates pictures for them? If so, do you think they'd be willing to do something for the H2G2 Extra?
Well, that's all I wanted to say for now. The H2G2 Extra should be arriving sometime in the next 6 months, and, hopefully, in the next 4 weeks there will be a brilliant H2G2 Extra Report explaning all the questions and points and where the H2G2 Extra is heading which will be a reminder in someways and will provide definate aims and reasons etc to everything that has ever been mentioned in this thread.
Thank You to all who support this new venture. It will be tough, the workload will be difficult, but in the end, we will triumph, and H2G2 will have something...Extra!
