Celebration of the human spirit was wiped from the face of London in an instant on 07/07. The day previous London was victorious in its bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games, 7 years virtually to the day it received the winning votes.
It was a shame on a very historic day, that the hard won, brilliantly achieved Olympic bid victory for London could not have been more throughouly feted. The bunting at this hour had to come down. the tragedy alone belonged to those many people who were killed, injured bereaved and damaged by the fanatics and their bombs.
