I am grateful I was not on this jury (just concluded) http://www.thisisgrimsby.co.uk/Adam...ep/story-14973179-detail/story.html it's a local man who was murdered and dismembered, body parts scattered all over our county. ill The trial has lasted 7 weeks, it was held in Sheffield.

It's a daily allowance for lunch & drinks, I'm getting £5.71 a day for up to 10 hours, but it's more for longer than that, £12.17 a day.

If you are self-employed they cover your lost pay, (I think).
