..or so Milk & Cheese say.

Haven't tried gin. What's the best/best value you can get. I dislike tonic intensely, so I'd want something that's good on it's own.

Humm...

It's not really that easy to get gin suitable for drinking neat in this country. The best that I can advise is probably Bombay Saphire, which, while not that cheap, has a more subtle flavour than most of the more 'common' varieties. It's also fairly easy to spot in the supermarket 'cos it comes in a bright blue bottle.

Ah yes, Bombay Sapphire. Surely the finest gin (well it won my flat's gin-tasting competition anyway). I didn't even like gin until this stuff converted me.

Not so sure I'd recommend it neat though. That said, I have drunk neat gin from a cup before.
It wasn't very nice.
