We're not all camp. We're just particularly individual and self confident. However, the entries for basses (pls watch the spelling), tenors and trebles are entirely accurate.

Male altos produce a very individual sound, perhaps unique. The good ones have excellent technique which is a prerequisite for the control necessary to not sound in pain or painful.

The similarities to Vogon poetry are notable. Bad male altos are indeed the third worst noise produced by human beings, the others being very wobbly, flat contraltos and baritones who think they are tenors (IMHO first and second worst).

I had the pleasure of meeting Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz recently. His poetry may not be up to much but his paintings were very good..honest!
