They can also be painted with a goo, called 'nail varnish'. This has a double purpose of strengthening the nails, and also makes them more aesthetically pleasing - a big bonus for the more discerning nail user, including builders, carpenters and amateur DIY enthusiasts. Mine are Cerise Pink. Emma.

If you could stick you fingers into your printer and download colours from the Net, you could be said to be wearing e-nails.
