  | | Small ding on my van while I was away. No message from the driver, according to his workmate 'didn't want to worry you while you were away' which is obviously the WRONG decision. But to make it worse, he's not answering the phone, or any of my text messages when I ask him what happened. His workmate says it was my driver who hit something, but of course everything belongs to someone and I need to know what. when. conditions. speed. etc, all the things, just in case his (MY!) number was taken and is reported. Ins cos love that. I won't report it, then when I need to claim I will have 'voided' the insurance by not telling them about an accident.
He had yesterday off, but I've rotaed him off today as well as until I know what happened I can't let him touch the van again. I'm considering this a serious problem and if he doesn't respond soon he'll be out on his ear permanently.

  | | I'm going to send a letter in next few days asking for the information, and will get a quote for the repairs hopefully before then. My dad says he can fix it, but I want it done properly. He is owed wages, but he has to hand in his hours, and if he doesn't get in touch they will go towards the repairs! He's only got a casual contract. He can't sue!
Such a shame, as he's such a nice lad. Just so strange this stoney silence! I wondered if his parents had told him not to talk to me.
