I was fairly certain I was going to find an article rife with stereotypes, as it is difficult to talk about a massive population without doing so. You however, have composed a well-written, informative piece which does justice to the American people without stooping to that level. As one American to another, I commend your efforts, and I would like to recommend that the editors give you a permanent post and a proper salary (for all that my recommendation is worth winkeye ).

Thanks for the kind words, GargleBlaster!
I was pretty proud of that entry. If you liked that, I have a few more about the USA (the South and the Pacific Northwest) in my Guide Entry list.
I'll be sure to pass your recommendation for a permanent post on to Mark and the rest of the team. Thanks again! winkeye

I would advise against forwarding that recommendation. They don't listen to me on anything, and will probably reject you just to spite me. winkeye

Well this entry is more understand then most towards the U.S. but I still feel that it ends up pushing a little too much towards the negative. It also seems to neglect putting any pieces of U.S. history in the entry. Overall a pretty good entry but I still would prefer if the U.S. entry has writings from both U.S. citizens and others. I will assume you are not from the U.S. because you don't use American-English. Of course I could be wrong, since I'm told that all approved entries are not supposed to use American-English.

Yeah, the dude who wrote it is an American, but then the British editors got hold of it and misspelled everything for him. winkeye
