 | | I've just had a thought.
If we've got the downstairs bar, and as (being the City) there's probably some wi-fi action going down, how's about we take along a laptop & webcam, set 'em up in a corner and broadcast to hootooers that can't make it?
I don't know if:
1) It's technically possible,
2) anybody would want to watch,
3) I'd trust myself not to lose my laptop or anybody else not to lose theirs.
4) This has already been suggested and mercilessly shredded as a ridiculous idea.
Regardless of that, whad'ya think?

If they still have the wifi thang, how would the pictures be broadcast? Some sort of MS/Yahoo etc messenger conference call? I don't think the regular 'update once a minute' webcam thing would be much cop.
(Of course watching a bunch of out-of-focus HoTooers getting drunk in the distance in a oub with random people lurching at, and shouting 'badger' into, the camera might not be much cop anyway!)
