I still suprised that this is still on topic at all. Most forums round here turn into beer drinking contests after the first 20 posts.

*spurred into vague drinking movie reference whilst staying on topic*

League of their own

Not allowed to drink alcohol at the moment due to doctors orders (same one who told me to stay off caffeine sadface ) so I am avoiding those forums at the moment. Too depressing sadface

Caterham, which one?

Watership Down may have been a slightly warped choice, but the ending is not sooo bad. They live (and breed) happily at their new home and the principal character (Hazel) dies of old age and his spirit drifts off to frolic with (and here my memory fails me) The Rabbit God fella. all to the sound of the permed choir-boy (or is that earlier in the film)...

...ok maybe I'm warped

Javam

I know how you feel. Now it's time to own up and disclose which films make you feel good/happy/delirious even though you're embarrassed to admit it. Those old Disneys, the Julie Andrews sagas, the Carry Ons .. go on - we'll bear with you.

I remember a terrible film with Hermann's Hermits, which we went to see as kids. It was just so nice to be there in our old flea pit, springs up your a**e, seats which wouldn't flip back up, seats which wouldn't flip down in the first place, the older kids snogging noisily two rows back. (When we were older we didn't make that much noise did we?)

Whatever happened to Hermann's Hermits?

I will own up to liking Willy Wonka. I heard that a remake is being considered. Gene Wilders eyes are soooooo blue in that film. As for Hermann's Hermits if they are like the other bands from the 60's, are probably touring the larger Indian(Native American) casinos in the American midwest. They usually only have one original member and rights to the name.

That sort of thing are always coming round Germany. I find it so embarrassing. Tremeloes, Mungo Jerry, Hollies ..... They never do anything new, and as for only one original member (complete with zimmer frame) they usually only have one hit to go on too.

daSilva,

It's a bitch isn't it?

Sorry your suffering too sadface

hug you back bud.

Back on topic...

Mega Force (more than likely a TVM, had the blonde chappy who played Devon in Knightrider in it)
Such classic dialogue as

'Remember the good guys always win. Even in the 80's'

Now what is more embarrassing, that I liked the film or I remember the script?

Javam
