This is the Conversation Forum for New h2g2 Feedback << Long time loading BR - why does it still say "from h2g2" above the conversations in our "my conversations" list >> Subject: BR: Error page refers back to BBC Posted Apr 14, 2012 by Unofficial h2g2 Bugfinders   Posting 1 When the website gets stuck and displays a "server too busy!" page, this is still all dressed up in BBC named links (and attempted BBC logos). The main body text: "Sorry! We're unable to bring you the page you're looking for right now. This is probably because our site has suddenly got very busy. Please do try again in a few minutes." is neutral. It's all the surrounding gubbins which is wrong. The BBC toolbar at the top, the claim that the link on the left is the "BBC Homepage" (although it really points at h2g2.com now), the send it to a friend link (bottom left) which references: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/maintenance/toobusy.shtml and the bottom of the page set of links, which still include "About the BBC". Although, again, they actually point at h2g2.com and are broken because those pages don't exist on the new website. We're currently getting rid of the last few bugs in a new version of the site, at which point we won't see these error pages again.
