Firstly, any suggestions for what needs to be updated on 'h2g2 in a nutshell' (A8468742)

Secondly, I'm currently updating my PS, using pictures/blobs for the links, so can anyone suggest a picture/blob that would be suitable to link h2g2 in a nutshell from. cheers

There's no mention of QotD - Quote of the Day in there as yet.

My bad.

A galaxy with a question mark in it? 42/petunias/whale/DNA all swirled to form a galaxy?

Yep, it's a new QotD every day - not just weekdays. Keeping track of them over the holidays may prove a challenge, mind you.

At the moment, the Quote of the Day appears as often as Dmitri feels like putting it there. I believe he tries for a new one each day, but you could ask him.

Entry of the month got discontinued in Dec 2010 due to a lack of voters.

Whoseonline now shows who-is-online AND any user page recently viewed even if that person is not online.

I think one thing we have learned over the years is that h2g2 just refuses to fit in a nutshell.
