Oh, this site with the 'reputation' system... Does it end up like ebay where if you give someone a negative mark they harrass you and start a hate campaign against you? If not, then I think it's a good idea. I certainly try to keep to the golden rule (ok, so I slip very occasionally but I still try to restrain myself) of 'post, not poster' and if I find myself starting to respond to off-thread rubbish (like, inter-thread vendettas etc) then I stop, delete, read something else for a while! Sometimes somebody will repay 'red' with 'red', but that's as far as it goes. (Hasn't happened to me, but I don't give 'red' that often.) You're just as likely to get 'green' repaid with 'green'. Frankly I avoid most convo's these days because: A) They are boring. B)They are about religion,politics or Americans/Islam/Bush. C) They are about nighthoover.
