I'm on premod so sorry if this takes a while to see the Light.

Need to say...
SA seems to have a grasp on reality regarding the nature
of dribbling along the roadways. And there is no question a
man should be free to roam and espouse a cause to help
create a better whirled.
ok
It was the guy's name, his age and the means of his death
that got belly larfs outa me. I am so easily amused; even if
it's not quite up to crucifixion standards he has a fair shot
at immortality over roadside-diner coffee or a TV dinner.
coffee
candle
Now... if the ball ends up on Ebay I may yet shed a tear
but not for him or his cause which should be celebrated
and never monetized.

PS:
I should also have mentioned the irony of the location
of the dribbler's encounter with death, Lincoln City.

Besides being reference to an assassinated president, Lincoln
has another meaning as mentioned in today's BBC story about
the top ten euphemisms:

>> 10. In the 70s a lot of LSD seemed to be produced in or around
Lincoln and it was common when asking what someone was doing at the
weekend to have them reply "I am going to Lincoln" meaning they were
going to be dropping acid. - Bee Wyeth, London <<

Mother has to repay compensation given to her by NHS as her son didn't survive for the 10 years that the compensation had been given for

Particuarly harsh as I'd have thought since there would have been a big outlay at the beginning and only then would the money have been start being used at a more level rate

New technology ... microwave card readers can read your bank cards while still in the wallet or purse. Marks & Spencer have this technology and it is causing problems with money taken from cards without the owner agreeing to it and without entering a PIN number. The technology is called Near Field Communication and more and more payment cards are being adapted to include this new technology:

Quote from article
"Paula, from London, ended up paying for the same items twice.

Like Rosemary, she put her NatWest card into the chip-and-pin terminal but had her HSBC contactless card she was holding in her purse in her other hand debited instead, before she could enter her PIN. She did not realise that she had a contactless card, and so then paid for the same items by entering the PIN for her regular debit card. It was only a month later when she looked at her bank statement that she realised that her HSBC card was contactless, and that she had paid twice."

So in this case the terminal took money from her HSBC card without any ID or security check, it just happened to be close to the terminal when someone was being billed (the same person in this case).

With this type of technology taking over it is easy to see how criminals could shortly be making use of it.

BBC reporting on the Oklahoma Tornado 20th May 2013.

The BBC were reporting yesterday evening and into the morning of "at least" 91 dead including "at least" 20 children dead. Then they reported "at least" 51 dead and another 40 likely dead. Now they are reporting "at least" 24 dead with "at least" 7 children dead. These numbers figured strongly either in the heading to the story or in the first paragraph of the story. Is this just another example of sensationalist reporting ... rather than reporting known facts. They even had a list of the top ten US tornadoes for casualties and the reporters were hopeful that this tornado would make a dent in the list ... as if this tornado "competition" for death and destruction was a key selling point for the story shrug
