I did used to work there part-time about 3 years ago but left tfor a full-time, permanent post. Since then, they haven't been offering chemistry. Anyway, I wasn't shortlisted. This is the first post that I've applied for in recent years for which I haven't been offered an interview! (On the other hand, I don't really want to work there as I would be the only chemistry lecturer, and I prefer to have colleagues with whom I can converse/discuss etc etc). I have another application to a different college pending, but it's 50 miles away. I'd probably have to rent a flat again. Not having colleagues to discuss things might be weighed up by the fact that it is local. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll find something suitable soon.
