Posted Dec 16, 2011 by Peanut This is a reply to this Posting   Posting 4 Hello Comrade Hope you don't mind bumping in here but saves setting up another mod thread I was confused by your actions yesterday. I wasn't going yikes, mainly because I thought that an objection should be made publically as it had been there for a couple of hours, thereafter I wasn't going to be Hoo's w*nkdoll as Ed puts it and once I had extracted myself from the situation I was going to follow up with an email and link to thread for the CEs. The way you put the invitation to yikes didn't really come across well to me, I thought that not yikesing was a valid option and that you are saying that we shouldn't challange, object or confront posts when we see fit. Also that you were fed up with me and that felt kind of dismissive of what I was saying or doing. I also didn't think a yikes would have been upheld and because you had posted in thread that only furthered that belief and I didn't expect any mod support while the situation was ongoing I was wrong there and it was really good to see the CEs step in and the mods upholding Ed's yikes, even though it looks like I was contradicting him, we were just coming from a different direction. I can see why my presence in that thread would have been a bit off-putting, but remember that when posting from our own accounts we are not acting in any officical capacity.
