  | | First of all, let me extend Seasons Greetings!
Andrea Ortiz, I'm assuming? How've you been? Which of course raises another question, am I duly bound by my 'ACE-hood' to as they say give you the whole schpiel? Which I imagine someone already gave you...roughly a year ago...hmm? Well, I don't suppose it would hurt, would it Andrea?
Anyway, being new you can visit the 'Welcome page' @ A53146 , or the 'I am new, what do I do now?'page@ A868098 , & of course theres the dontpanictour . You know, of course about the wide range of smileys & being able to refer back to the list by typing smileys into the search window. You can also access them@ A155909 .
You can also look at 'spicing up your page'@ A690518 , or the 'picture gallery'@ A692741 , as well as the 'GuideML clinic' ( A187229 ). I would imagine you were aware of thepost h2g2's newspaper which comes out every Thursday. And of course the various clubs & societies, which you'll find divided into categories & listed@ A660340 .
A couple of my esteemed ACE colleagues have compiled comprehensive lists of links designed to help new researchers. Shea's List is@ A534953 while Feisor's List of Links is@ A719840 . I would imagine that between the 2, most aspects of hootoo are covered, or at least touched on. But should you have any questions, there's askh2g2 . In any case, it's good to be the one to welcome you back Andrea, I'll mention to abbi that you're back & I hope to see you around, contributing to conversations before too long. Bye for now *waves*

  | | Well...I never really left...just didn't find as much interesting and my work schedule made it look like 2 or 3 days passed between each posting.
My old ID just died...couldn't get back in no matter what did..so just decided to use this one.
I am fond of blue butterflies and I have gotten into some new conversations along with the new identity. Beginnings are good. Definitely expect to see me posting more.
thank you for the re-welcome!!!

  | | Well....I am scared cause my metabolism/blood is very messed up do to a thyroid problem and I have had a lot of very strange reactions to any hospitalish sort of thing. I am just worried that I might actually slip away some day when I don't respond to a medicine or over respond to it (or when I lose blood or change body temperature).
Last eye surgery...They had a very hard time putting me to sleep. I was given medicine and my mother just found out that I was finally given anasthesia...when I told her why I was scared to have a surgery now. Apparently it is not normal to have anasthesia for the type of surgery I had, I just could not be put to sleep. Then when I was being wheeled out of surgery...I woke up. These are the kind of things that worry me. I really do wish though that I had the courage to just go in and have it done...I would if I would really believe that it is risk-free.

  | | I am doing really good...about ready to go on a short vacation but I will be online part of Tuesday and Thursday...so probably won't notice that I am gone that much.
Going to a art exhibit.
You really should try Guide ML..it is really just copy and paste...if you can do that then you can do Guide ML.
