  | | When I was in Minneapolis, I stayed with a couple who made scrambled eggs, mixed them with cheese and herbs, and put them in a big yellow bowlin the middle of the table, which was passed round like a peace pipe. Unfortunately they were cold but the coffee was good. While chewing on my scramled eggs on this occasion I realised that American's don't have electric kettles (I know this because I looked for one for them for a present and couldn't find one). I then realised why I felt so strange when I walked into their house - the first thing I usually do when I walk in is put the kettle on - they open the fridge. Culture shock or heightened perception brought on by scrambled eggs and cheese?

  | | You know what...if you want to see good scrambled eggs, see the film; 'The Cable Guy', you see Jim Carrey serve them to Matthew Broderick. I have never seen such appealing scrambled eggs, it was because of this film that I first became a scrambled eggs fan...except, you can't taste the eggs, you just have to watch the two actors eating them...
