Hello again! Not content with mangling your series on Raven, I'm now about to Sub 'The Princess Bride - The Film'. The version I'll be working on is at A1156817 , if you want to keep an eye on what I'm doing. winkeye

I'm ashamed to say that I've never seen the film, although after reading your entry, I really fancy seeing if the local video shop has a copy biggrin .

I'll be back in touch before I send it on to the Editors, in case you've any complaintsok .

Well, as I was happy with the work you did on that mammoth task that was the "Raven" articles (my persanal baby!), I don't think that I'll have any cause to worry.

I'm flattered that you're thinking of watching the film after reading the article, both in light of the positive comments on my article and the fact that the film means a lot to me on a persoanl level. I was reading through the comments that other researchers have left and it looks like many feel the same way. The Princess Bride represents to me proof that you can write what at first seems to be a fairytale and still create an intelligent and positive work. There is no need to resort to gore and effects when you have a sound script and the gifted actors able to pull it off.

Sorry to have taken so long to get back to you, but the truth is that I've actually been trying to find a copy of the film to watch myself.
Due to a long-term argument with the bank I don't have a credit card so buying internet is out and working nights keeps me away from the city centre during the day so I've just been hitting the video shops open late.
Unfortunately none of them seem to have a copy, (or perhaps they just don't like me winkeye ) anyway all this messing about is holding back your entry from its proper place in the guide. If you're OK with what I've done to it I'll forward it as soon as I hear from you.

The finished article looks fine to me, so I have no qualms about your forwarding it.

Good luck in finding a copy of the film, and when you do I'd be interested to hear what you think of it!
