  | | Touched down at 14.10 at Manchester Piccadilly.
Not all plain sailing, as left the ticket part of my reservation at home, so had to part with another £50. Hopefully I can get some of that back, but probably not all of it.
And mobility assist was waiting for me, taking me straight to the cab, and helping me onboard. Now in the hotel, so just charging everything up. Looks like Curry's service desk here, with the Happy Meal online, the McMuffin and McNugget charging, and the MciFlurry waiting. Then the cameras' batteries need to charge. Going to get the most out of this hotel this weekend!!!
Right. Guess a quick spruce-up then into Machester for a quick bit of shopping and a wander, before returning and preparing for this evening.
Later folks...

  | | Wasn't 'their fault, and everyone was more than accommodating. Over and above what they needed to do. I owe Pastey, Phil, Mrs Z and SuperFrenchie big time. As well as everyone else who ensured I could get about and enjoy myself. And, in fairness, they didn't know the nature of my disability, or how much of a problem it could be. At least they didn't desert me and kept me company downstairs.
I'll be back...

  | | It was Friday. I did try to get upstairs. I don't give up easily, and Phil did his best for me, even offering a fiteman's lift, but the bend in the stairs was too much. But I had the very pleasurable company of Mrs Pasty and SuperFrenchie most of the evening, plus Pastey, Phil, Metal Chicken etc. so I was never alone. Saturday I did freak a bit when I couldn't get the lift to work. My current success rate with lifts is very poor, but appears they have to switch it on. And that evening went well, although too crowded for bar visits. Made up for it at the hotel though. I'll be back and before the next meet. You've been warned Phil and Pastey. And music is pencilled in, Mrs. P
