I'm curious as I do this a lot. Meanwhile, have placed hairspray and deodorant on opposite ends of the bathroom shelf to avoid any future surprises. Again - they are the same colour and size. That everybody grasps the necessity of a special word for it is probably an indication of how widespread it is. My own version usually involves going into a room, doing something, going back to where I was, and *then* realising that that wasn't actually the reason I'd gone in there. Highly unlikely to roll over your hair to make it behave! As to this "woking" you speak of, I once stuck my tennis-shoe-style clogs in the fridge for some reason. I think it must have been around November, as I had some cranberry sauce (a tart and very seasonal item in the states) sitting right next to them! Granted this IS California, but even so, not necessary to cool shoes down at that time of year. Must have had a senior moment ... or the appropriately named "wok" !
