 | | This time last year, I was counting down the days to my 50th.
There were big plans and loads of celebrations.
Loads of cards and pressies.
A day trip out with certain friends and rellies and then a meal out on the night with others.
I had loads of cards and well wishes and general fuss from everyone I knew at the time.. Both online and in real life.
This year..... its just a few days to go and I havent even given it another thought. No plans made. No idea as to what I would like for anything. Pressies or activities..
Ive been told I have to celebrate as its in 'the rules'.. (whose rules, i dont know)
All i know is..... i dont want to be 51 on sunday

 | | You sound as if you have lots of family and friends who love you. If you have that and your health just be thankful for another year in this wonderful world. Old age comes quite fast enough - don't meet it half way!
You are no different now than when you became fifty are you so what's up? Or shouldn't I ask?

nothings up.. i just dont have the enthusiasm.
i do have my health, well its better than some, but i am noticing things are going wrong that bit more often.
the slow decline has started 
maybe im fussing over nothing and it will be a good day all round.
i will report back later

| | well, i did go to to blackpool and up to the top of the tower. which is something ive never ever done before.
the weather was brilliant and everything seemed to go like clockwise.
the only thing that wasnt good, was my feet hurting so much.
this age thing isnt all its cracked up to be <laugh.

i would have called in for a few flowers, but i dont know where your shop is
you will have to mail me your address, cos im sure i will be up there again sometime this year.
