  | | Ok a quick update into what's going on in Reef-land.
Alex (My daughter for those that don't know) passed final assements for St. John Cadets and passed with flying colours. She's now a qualified First Aider
I got my redundancy notice on 1st May, the hospital closes on 31st July, I'm going to be one of Gordon's Million's, but the Iching says I've got to go with the flow and not worry as it will all come right in the end.
I'm taking this fortune telling stuff a bit more seriously now that's I've had a fair amount of success with the Iching and numerology and have taken up Tarot cards, I'm still learning so I'll update any success or failure in a few months time

  | | That could be a problem, The actual hospital building has a preservation order on it, they can alter the inside but not the outside, i:e they can't put doors and windows in. They could make the accomodation blocks into flats but in the current financial crises it would cost too much and no-one can afford to buy them. Then there's the bodies, there are graves all over the grounds so it's impossible to dig the grounds without having to call in the police, enviromental health, archeologists every time you find bones.
The only logical solution is for it to remain a hospital and the health care trust won't let that happen because Queen Alexandra's HAS to succeeed and the only way it can is to close the more successful hospitals

It is pointless having 1 hospital in an arew that clearly needs 2. The system is letting everyoud down the staff most of all, We have also have a system for the propergation of superbugs. It they concentrate people in one area it will be easier to spread infections.
Gosport had 2 hospitals and a maternity unit how come that now its 3 times the size it only needs a unit in Portsmouth.
Help me out with some statistics here Hoggy I might be wrong...
Lets hope BUPA take it on.
