It's called a 'Vesper' isn't it? at least it is in the book.
Reef, on the subject of the DBS in Casino Royale, where you say it has no gadgets, are you discounting the defibrillator in the glovebox? Great article by the way

I knew someone was going to pick that up, when I said gadgets I meant the typical 'Bond' gadgets like rocket launcher, ejector seats and oil slicks. Personally I wouldn't class a gun rack and a defibrillator as gadgets, but that's just me.
And yes he did call it a 'Vesper' in the film as well as the book

| | I'm not suprised because this touches on so many different levels, movies, books, cars, technology, and the fact that it was written by a female as you said in the journal entry proves that it would make it through PR pretty quickly. And yeah I remember he called it Vesper now, I couldn't remember... its not my fault its like early in the morning and i have been up for the past 3 days xD

| | Yes B'El he's dead and has been for nearly 20 years. My dad met him once, very briefly.
It doesn't really matter Prof, the film does follow the book fairly faithfully, there are a few added bits in the film and the story has obviously been up for the film, SMERSH turns into terrorists, Baccarat becomes Texas Hold 'em Poker, Bond is give £15,000,000 instead of £25,000 to bet with, but the essence of the story is basically the same, no Q or Moneypenny tho
