Something Weird Happened >> Subject: It Was Twenty Five Years Ago Today Posted May 12, 2007 by Reefgirl (Back and Bug Free)   Posting 1 That the Falklands War started in ernest and today I went to a commemoration service in Fareham (A new memorial was unveiled) This was a legitimate war as British Terretory had been occupied (unlike the current one) and where was the Prime Minister and the Prime Minister Elect? same place they were on the 20th anniversary, Nowhere to be seen, now if Lady Thatcher can make it, in her current state of health, I'm sure some of the current government could have dragged their asses down for a couple of hours to pay their respects to those who sacrificed so much for freedom. Shame on you Mr Blair and Mr Brown, I'll bet they'll be first in the queue to commemorate the Iraq war, if it ever ends.
