This evening I dug out my bike - it was buried in the storage cupboard under the Christmas tree, several tins of paint, lots of board games, shoes, boots and ice-skates, plus some boxes that haven't even been opened for the last 5 house moves - and of course 3 years of dust. yikes

Tomorrow I intend to *attempt* to ride - just to the end of the street and back - any furthur and I will need the emergency services. laugh
I want to bulid my strength up again so I can cycle around Holyrood Park. It may take a while... erm

Watch this space.... rofl

Funnily enough, i was only thinking today, i might retrieve mine from viking's storage space & try & get new tyres for it.

Assuming the knee can cope of course, but if i build up slowly, as with you, just a little pootle to start with....

goodluck & good to see you back on here!

Got my bike all ready to go - pumped up the front wheel, started on the back one and then the connector to the pump broke! Do you think it is a sign tongueout

Oh well, have to go to the bike shop on Monday to get another one.
But at least I tried!!

In fact pumping up the tyres was exercise enough in itself blush
