Who exactly is President 'Franklin D Eisenhower'?
I think you mean Dwight D Eisenhower aka Ike the USA's 34th president

The Eisenhowers retired to a farm in Pennsylvania after their stint in the White House...
I can find a Pennsylvania tie-in for nearly everything.

I've just a had look at your fastnacht entry - those are some mighty fine doughnuts, my friend.
I actually came across these in Louisiana of all places....
I want you to find a Pennsylvania tie-in with Superman...

This is a pretty weak effort, but a pastor in nearby York, Pennsylvania wrote a religious book called The Gospel According to Superman or something like that.
I read about it in a local satire magazine a few (5 or 6?) years ago.

You are very good...
Something that would interest me is an entry on Film locations in Pennsylvania (ie, Witness, Twelve Monkeys, Flashdance etc...)

My father-in-law worked on the set of Witness as a carpenter and the silo in which the one bad cop is killed sits in his backyard.
While you were mentioning films, I noticed you left out the bad ones like 'Girl Interrupted' and 'Lucky Numbers' with John Travolta and Lisa Kudrow.
