Though I cannot give a year for when it began, math nerds of the world (at least the US, maybe not the world) celebrate pi day on March 14 (3/14, pi=3.14). Corny yes, but all the same fun!!!

Hi Psycho - is there an h2g2 Entry that mentions this? If you could let us have the A number, then I can put a link and update into the March calendar list...

Unfortunately, I do not think that anyone has written an entry that mentions pi day. There are many about pi. . .
