About Me

Photobombing (art)

Photobombing is the utterly pointless act of attaching printed photographs to public places, objects and buildings for random strangers to find.

The photobombs have an ID number printed on the back so they can be tracked, and a link to the photobombing.com website. Through the website you can see a list of all the other photobombs and where they were targetted, search for your ID number (to see a digital version of your photo, and a photo of it in place) and look at all the photobombs geographically on a map/aerial photograph.

Apparently, this is a work of modern art, demonstrating extreme creativity and sensitivity to the very premise that modern art is a valuable cultrual asset.
