Magic
Originally used by humans to refer to anything they couldn't explain. Now chiefly used by humans to refer to anything they can't explain.Some humans find a career in magic, in which case it is not something they can't explain but something they don't want to explain or they would be out of a job. These careers are more accurately refered to as illusionism, but few peole know this term.
As any interplanetary traveller knows, the only beings to have mastered magic were the Hrungs from Betelgeuse IV, but we all know how that turned out.
