Welcome to my space. Sorry it's not very exciting - I'm not much of a and don't have much of a clue about livening it up. I could go and find the instructions, I know they're out there, but I keep procrastinating.

I also know there's a society out there for procrastinators and I've been meaning to join, but...well, you know.

So, I'm Deb. I'm around middle-age (at least I hope I am!) and live in the West Midlands, UK. I have a dull office job which I actually enjoy. I mainly just here cos I only get on a couple of hours a week.

Some things I always love: My dog; my niece and my two nephews; DNA's books, of course; Pride and Prejudice; Amanda and the 11 Million Mile High Dancer; Wapsi Square; Sinfest (especially Pooch and Percival, who always make me laugh); Calvin and Hobbes; films by Kevin Smith; Truly, Madly, Deeply; Amelie; Maltesers .

Some things I love at the moment but may change my mind about at any time: books by Jasper Fforde; Theory of a Dead Man; Fringe.

Some things I hate: rudeness and bad manners; textspeak anywhere other than in a text message; check-out people putting the change on top of the notes; TV close-ups of people crying; celery .

I believe it's customary to do the maths: (2*3)-8+(5*9)-1.
