Math - Playing Devil's Advocate

Me, I guess

I'll start with a self introduction with my name partly as I consider this a good and somewhat traditional starting point for such a venture. My full name is Math Brooker, what I usualy face at this point is the accusation of having abreviated my name, something I have never felt the need to do. I think from past experiance it's worth explane my forename to some extent; it is a welsh name taken straight from the Mabinogian (a friend of my mothers was reading this at the time I arrived). As I recall (anyone who knows me will know how dubious my recolection can be) Math son of Mathonwy, Lord of Gwynnedd, had to keep his feet in the lap of a virgin except in times of war (happily this restriction doesn't seem to have been confered to me with the name).
A little about me, well I'm caucasion, male, born '76, live in S.Wales, work an late shift so I'm probably not online as per the usual UK profile (as if anyone really fits their expected profiles).

I have my doubts, but I'm feeling brave, or foolish enough to put this picture of me here for anyone who desires a target for mockery. Though I have just changed the pic so it is now a more recent pic of me and baby cousin who is cute enough to distract from mockery of me (or so I hope).

These are just a few of my favorite things;

Reading, though I'll read almost anything once, I'm most likly to pay money for books (assuming I can find something I don't already have) by I.Asimov, D.Brin, O.S.Card, T.Clancy, T.Goodkind, F.Herbert, K.Kerr, P.McAuley, and many others too numerous to remember.

Music, rather than describe my tastes heres who I like; Barenaked Ladies, Moxy Fruvous, NIN, Tracey Chapman, Paul Simon, Great Big Sea, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metalica, and some others too numerous to remember.

Roleplay, I enjoy running and playing table-top roleplays, while I will play any system, in any genre, I've only run fantasy games so far, and for the moment at least I'll be staying set in my way as far as that is concerned. I've also tried various online roleplaying set ups, but because of my lack of typing ability I find it more effort than I feel the reward is worth. Also tried my hand live roleplay of various types, occasionaly fun, but I get frustrated by being too tall to play Dwarf characters, or by bad acting, my own and other peoples.
