I'm Not Dead

The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated

In September this year, it will be ten years since a plucky group of researchers ventured to Alton Towers and left with an addition to their number. It was my immense pleasure to spend the next year travelling the world with a number of them and other h2g2 researchers, until the fateful day when a return to Alton Towers nearly spelled my doom.

Despite the valiant attempts of my dear friend Randall, I was plunged into an abyss from which I nearly did not return. Sadly, my memory of what happened that day is somewhat wooly. But what happened after that, before I could find my way back to my friends, is both vivid and wonderful. Suffice to say, I am now the proud father of a number of little lambs some of whom have already made their way out there in the world with some of my h2g2 friends.

It is my fervent hope that soon we will be reunited in friendship and kinship again, and perhaps I can resume my travels with friendly researchers to the furthest reaches of this wonderful world.

MeetSheep was won by a group of researchers at Alton Towers, on Saturday 14^th September, 2002. He led a very active and fulfilling life, attending many h2g2 meets, until he met his death¹ on Sunday 21^st September, 2003.
