Me etc.

For those who wish to know (a bit about) me:

I am married, 50, with three children. My eldest are twin boys, born in 1997, my youngest is also a boy and was born in 1999 (just about). All were conceived with the aid of infertility treatment which accounts in some part for me being old myself with a young family.

I live in the New Forest in central Southern England and work just North of there, about a half hour commute by car through beautiful countryside.

I fiddle with computers for a living and occasionally as a hobby, though much of my time is taken up with looking after my family, DIY and gardening. My interests also include science and science-fiction and I read whenever I get the opportunity. My wife is a garden designer.

I try to use the journal as an infrequent blog, but generally only for the gardening part of my life.

And perhaps the odd rant.
