"Khowaga" is a not terribly flattering word in Egyptian Arabic for "foreigner" which this particular Khowaga has chosen to wear as a badge of honor. He is a nice, young lad of about twenty five years of age who resides in the southern United States in a lovely apartment that he shares with several houseplants in various and prolongued stages of impending death as well as the occasional cockroach.</p>

<p align="justify"><Font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> He has spent innumerable time mucking about the Middle East and in Middle East related sections of various universities as well as in other, far less interesting, locales. He's not single anymore, and is currently having loads of fun with this particular aspect of his life. He enjoys goofing off at work, fine cuisine and wine, the occasional bad film, and only very rarely ever refers to himself in the third person.</p>
