The Campaign for Thursday has one main duty - to protect the days of the week from harm. We may be fighting in the face of adversity, but with ale and pie on our side we cannot lose. Quite simply, we're on the winning side, and we know it.

The Thursdayites are against the renaming of Thursday to 'Thing', a notion held by a rival h2g2 faction known as the Thingites.

In a tribute to the late Douglas Adams, we had a thread where eventually we hoped to have had several thousand people⁴ say 'wop', mimicking the sound of the ships belonging to the infamous Krikkit robots. Sadly, the thread is now closed due to moderator's reasons. Instead, you can have a run around our wopping⁵ great big racetrack and see if you can get on the results page...

Our resident lighthouse Lady Admiral Ayeka wanted to write something about Thor, beer, and bar vouchers. The result is a work in progress, an epic story which just seems to be getting longer and longer.

Finally, we have a radio service - at the moment Radio Two and Radio Four are both in states of mild disrepair - in other words, they're On Air right now.
