An Introduction to Me

In order for you to have a perspective on anything I may happen to post to h2g2, here's some demographics (though, may I say that I hate labels):

I'm a male, heterosexual, thirty years old, human, slightly overweight, slightly taller than average, long-haired, with some college education, tattooed, goateed, single, no children, living in the Southwest United States, born and raised in the Northeast U S, political moderate, cats over dogs, briefs over boxers, Darwin over ><>, never been arrested, and I am gainfully employed.

I am a firm believer that every person has a right to believe what they want to believe for the reasons they want to believe, so long as they don't interfere with, oppress, kill, maim, impregnate without consent, fold, spindle, mutilate, or otherwise inconvenience another person and their rights. Having said that, my personal beliefs in the spiritual realm are abstract at best, but as a generality, I do not believe in a "supreme being." This mortally offends my brother, who bounced around from religion to religion in his adolescence, before settling upon one, that, while it will remain nameless, is barely more than a large, rapidly-growing cult. At one point he pronounced me a "godless heathen," which eventually morphed into Godless Infidel, which, frankly, sounded much more mean and nasty, and therefore even further from my actual personality. Anyway, I have found it to be a great online name, as it is usually never taken, and it is easier to remember only one.

I am an avid sports car/F1 racing fan, and unfortunately we don't get enough of it on telly over here in the States - we're stuck with trash like NASCAR.
